darn S key!

Alright,

We have two laptop computers...reason....Let me tell ya...

My darling mother bought me one when I started University of Phoenix. It is an HP Pavillion Media...LOVE IT! Well, there was a mfg problem where the screen panel cracked and it made the case impossible to open and close. Therefore, we left it open all of the time. I couldn't take it back and forth to school. So, I bought a cheap Toshiba laptop. It had the basics on it, it was easier to carry around, and I like it! WELL, I DID!

HP sent me this wonderful RECALL email. They were going to fix my HP panel for FREE! YAY! I sent it in and it came back about 2 weeks later looking BRAND NEW! THANKS HP! Now...dilemma....which one to use. I decided to keep using the toshiba as it was lighter and easy to transport around. Don and I decided that the HP would be the family computer. The kids used it for research and games (club penguin, toontown, etc...) WELL, my S key just went out on the Toshiba! UGH!

I am a fast typer (ya, really fast), and I have to have my S key! I have decided to take back my HP (it is really nice and the monitor is really big). Though it is XP and the Toshiba is Vista, I still enjoy it.

The "opportunity to overcome" now is to transfer all new stuff that the HP doesn't have (contacts, calender items, favorites). Ode to joy?

I really did miss this puter....
