I am sitting here watching a movie with my children and their choice of friends for a sleep over for the night. There will be more after Christmas, so Miss (Show-n-tell)- get ready for the call!
Anyway, locking up the house, battin' down the hatches, I look outside the back door and it is snowing again. So beautiful and silent. I look down, and there is Beauregard Jeremiah watching the snow flakes fall...trying to catch them by hitting the glass with his paws. That moment brought innocence back. Innocence back to the moments where everything is pure and safe. I think of Christ during this moment. So fragile, so frail, yet so strong, so PURE!
I think of my brother in law who is in Washington - where literally POUNDS of snow are dumping upon him and his family. I think of my mother, who just called me from California, "Lindsie, it is snowing and it is beautiful!"
Snowflakes are so unique, so innocent, so pure as they fall to the earth. I remember, a couple of years ago, Isaac and I walked to the park through the untouched snow. We literally saw different snowflakes and noticed that each one is different, but they fall with unity! Hello! There is God right there!
Christ was born so pure, He died so pure. To look at my little kitten and see his face watching each snowflake he can follow, I am reminded...Christ is in every one!
Three days until CHRIST mas everyone.
Enjoy the innocence,
Linds
