Well, I've done it! I completed my FIRST integrated unit. It was 50 pages LONG! Took me 3 days straight of living in filth of a dirty house, not doing dishes, laundry, picking up clothes, or bathe...No, wait, I DID bathe "I think". I AM DONE! Presented it tonight in class...everyone loved it! It is for 6-7th graders and the main premise is Language Arts! Go Lindsie Go Lindsie Go Go Go Lindsie! YAY ME!
Break time! Yes, I am taking a week off from Univ. of Phoenix! I am missing a class, but that is ok...well deserved! I still have a paper to write, but I can do that sitting on a beautiful porch in the deep woods California sipping ice tea.
We are going to Groveland, Cali for the week tomorrow. Cannot wait to leave. I have packed, got my dear friend watching the animals, and we are heading out! Going to help at Vacation Bible School at my mothers church. My FAVORITE neice is going to be my helper, I hear. I am EXCITED! I am excited to watch my children grow more in the faith. Instead of Iris asking me, "mom, does my brain move when I tilt my head to the side?" - This is why I want to teach 7th grade, but I am sure there are questions just like that one in that age group also.
My mom lives about 30 miles from the enterence of Yosemite. I hear there is the Horse Tail Falls in July...I am going to try to check it out! I will hopefully take beautimuss pics.
