Two day ago...
Truck in shop - breaks locked up. Currently driving our little "race car (I call it that) Honda Accord." It is a 1997, paid for, and in great shape except for the drivers window, which is stuck open about an inch and a half from the top.
Today...
Woke up at 6:30 am to pouring down rain. I talked to God and told Him that if he would stop the rain, I would do my part and prepare the car, prepare the children, and to church we would go. Now, I know that I need to NEVER make deals with God. The thing is~I had faith; knowing that God would do this. Ask, Seek, and Knock! And I did just that. We went back to sleep, and woke up at 9:30. I looked out of the window and the rain was not coming down.
We dressed, and off we went, into town, to church.
Loved the entire time. After service, I was sitting with my Pastor and Christian Sisters. Iris and her sunday school teacher came up to me. "Lindsie, your daughter got saved today." I looked at Iris. Tears were in her eyes. I hugged her and we cried JOY together.
Thank you, Father, for preparing the way and allowing Iris to hear the call, and giving her the heart of make the right choice. Though a rough start, You came through as You always do, in all things!
Currently...
Truck back - runs great.
Don is healing...little more pain, as numbness is decreasing, but funnier than ever while he watches his Football games today.
Rain is back and we are enjoying a family day.

And, YEAH to everything not great happening too...as I know I am going through change and God is bringing me closer to him.
