Music Appreciation!

Alright,

I come from a long line of family members who have the gift! The gift of music in one way or another.

My Aunt sings and acts, followed by her immediate family. My brother who plays guitar and sings praises along with his immediate family.

My mother who plays the violin. My step father who also plays the guitar.

Me who plays the piano and sings....

I grew up to music in my home, camp outs, drama and plays, chorus', and dance recitals. Why then, when I married a man who is not musically inclined dares to laugh at me when I desire to go to a concert not of his genera liking!!!

I went to every concert my mother played in. I performed at every recital the piano allowed, my father took me to every play and musical San Francisco had to offer (Ya - the WIZ - and ANNIE - LOVED THEM BOTH, plus more), still watch Broadway on TV (when I can), and to this day...

My favorite genera is classical, however, I love rock, heavy metal, hip hop, jazz, country, bluegrass, and everything else in between...ya I love Yanni and Yo Yo Ma too!

YA, I want to go see a variety concert of heavy metal artists. I WANT TO SEE THEM! He LAUGHED AT ME! How dare him!

The music he likes is ACE, however, there are other genre's out there...expand the mind Mister! There is a gift in every genera...UGH!

I do love you Mister Don - Quit it! Open Your mind and learn to~hear it in every form.
