Yes, that is what my children used to say when they were younger. Now, they have personalities and are getting quite the humor. Isaac is off track this month, so he and I are getting to know eachother "again." This happens every three months. Iris and I get to "know" eachother again in the summer.
So, I let Isaac have a month long slumber party, by himself, on the couch. The children always have one on the weekends (at least one night). Anyway, tonight Isaac was hungry. I told him to have some oatmeal, as it is filling! His response: I am never filled mom, don't you know that yet? YA, I know this. Then he said, "All boys think about are food and girls!" - OH MY GOSH! HE is 9 and THAT CAME OUT OF HIS MOUTH? Crazy kid! We talked about it for awhile and he said, about 30 minutes later, "mom, I really do not think about girls" - YA RIGHT!
So we have about 6-1/2 inches of snow outside and it is still falling. I wonder if we will have a snow day tomorrow. Iris is currently doing her CRT (Yearly Testing) and she is coming down with the flu/cold (I am getting over it) - Lord, if you have a snow day tomorrow, it will be ok and I will praise You.
Don called me from work today.
D: I am swamped
L: Breathe!
D: I can't
L: You will be fine and I love you
D: I am just grateful I have a job!
L: In today's world, I am too!
