Yes, that is what I observed this evening at Isaac's birthday party. In the past I have had slumber parties for him, but this year, I threw in the towel, and splurged the big bucks and allowed someone to prepare, cook, serve, and clean up instead of me! YAY!!!!
Chuck E Cheese was the place Isaac wanted. So, I reserved a table for 9 boys and 10 adults, 3 pizzas, tons of tokens and unlimited drinks. The place was AT CAPACITY! Walking in, I had to cut through the endless line and tell the person at the front who I was and we were escorted in. That, right there, should tell you the chaos that was there.
Our server was OUTSTANDING! She took my order and told me what was to happen when it was to happen...Everything went on schedule, however, it was CHAOS! So many parties happened at the same time, not to mention the families that went their just to eat and let their children run rampid.
Isaac and his friends got their tokens and off they went. They came back every few minutes and handed us their tickets won. Pizza came...It went FAST!
One of my favorite parts was the CAKE! A dear friend of mine made an incredible looking and delicious cake based on STAR WARS LEGOS (Isaac is into that right now)! It was to WONDERFUL to look at, but when we tasted it...OMG....it was YUMMY! Thanks friend, for doing that! BBQ at my house soon!
A memory of me, as a little girl, was a birthday party for me at Chuck E Cheese. I remember having to stand on the table while the mouse himself sang to me! This evening, Chuck E. Cheese came out and sang to little man Isaac! It was so great to see Isaac and his friends get into the moment.
Anyway, after the pizza was eaten, candles were blown out, and presents were open...all in all, we had a wonderful time!
